Spent the morning with a couple of colleagues working on gathering new goose ID video at Sauvie Island. Felt weird to be in a blind with a camera on a tripod trying to shoot Taverners, Duskies and Cacklers trying mimic the conditions hunters might encounter.

obviously opposed to religious violence but I think if you are implementing an actual plan to banish the night then some kind of state-condoned moon priestess should be allowed to ritually sacrifice you, willing to be flexible on that one

1. To opinions! Solar is the cheapest source of bulk electricity in many countries, and the quickest to deploy, and now you couldn't stop it being built if you wanted to. The limits to PV build in most places are grid access, permitting, and sometimes installation labour.
