There’s lots of issues with Spotify at the moment, but one is that there are a bunch of AI songs and albums on there - and the model isn’t, I think, get people to deliberately play them, but that they’ll pop up on [artist X] or genre auto playlists and the user won’t be listening properly.
So looking at the actual SF chronicle article, the only place this song is accruing notice is on Spotify, which is easily gamed by bots. If I were an AI proponent who desperately needed to boost the validity of my investment, this is exactly what I’d do.

I don't think V is 'prescient' so much as it states there will always be people on the soft right who'd side with the hard right without too much of a push. That there will always be junk scientists and paedo priests and TV presenters willing to earn money lending legitimacy to the hard right.
