Rubio just made a speech to the European defense community in Munich that did not mention Ukraine. Or democracy. Or US business deals with Russia. Or the administration's plans to support the European far right. But there were lots of nice words about our common civilization.

Actual scene in my kitchen tonight:

Husband (out of nowhere): I just love you so much.

Me (suspiciously): What happened? What did you do?

Husband (aggressively): The DOW is over 50,000, how can you even be asking me this!!!!

So Trump’s official position is: it’s fine for Lutnick to be so chummy with a child-sex-trafficking degenerate, so close he was invited to pedo island and actually visited, because Lutnick hasn’t been caught red handed molesting a child?
Q: “Were you aware that the Secretary of Commerce visited Epstein's Island?”

Trump: “No, I wasn't aware of it…He was there with his wife and children…I wasn't, I was never there. Somebody will someday say that. I was never there.”

trump musing aloud that he's gonna burn in hell has become so common in his ramblings that it doesn't even make the news, this was a few days ago and the only clip i was able to find of it was at RT

Extremely troubling that Trump and Bondi are snooping and tracking what members are seeing when reviewing Epstein files—also damning evidence that they are still hiding things and strongly motivated to keep Epstein’s child-trafficking accomplices from facing justice.

I doubt it’s the full file set.
CNN: "Another photograph - these are notes AG Bondi brought to the hearing today. This shows a list of Rep. Jayapal's search history. Lawmakers are allowed to go to a DOJ facility to search unredacted files. We learned from this photo that the searches are apparently being tracked & read by the DOJ"

Can somebody get Bad Bunny to read a few of Epstein’s emails in Spanish?

Maybe then Trump’s goons, Fox News, and MAGA influencers will finally be concerned about them.

SCOOP: Tensions at Palantir have grown in recent weeks over the company's work with ICE.

On Friday, CEO Alex Karp tried to calm concerns in an hourlong video that offered few specifics—instead offering NDAs to workers who want to understand how it's empowering ICE.

Epstein and many of his correspondents were not unsophisticated about how they communicated, a lot of emails are requests to talk by phone, there are plenty of references to keeping certain topics to in-person convos, even kicking people from an email thread because their account is "insecure"
Last week the far right started peddling a narrative that the outrage over Epstein is a moral panic. Today, like clockwork, a more polite version of that narrative appears in the Atlantic.

how does it not bother investors that Elon Musk never actually delivers the thing

if he didn't deliver affordable EVs, the 100% solar-powered Superchargers, the "alien dreadnought" factory, the game-changing solar roof, or L5 self-driving why believe he'll deliver data centers in space or whatever?

This is really all you need to know about cross country skiing.
but seriously cross country skiing is the worst. downhill skiing but with every fun part taken out. you're trudging through a forest, having to go *uphill*, no lodge or bathroom to escape to, and your heels aren't even fastened to the skis so you have minimal control on the downhill. fuck that sport

"Epstein class" is terrific not simply because several of them are directly tied to Epstein's crimes, but because it strikes at the corruption, immorality and impunity of that entire circle.
Ossoff: We were told that MAGA was for working-class Americans. But this is a government of, by, and for the ultra-rich. It’s the wealthiest Cabinet ever. This is the Epstein class. They are the elites they pretend to hate.
