As for Big Bird, he's always been conceptualized as a young character, so the high, light voice can potentially be misleading. (And it's probably why that was the character I recast in my head, gender-wise.) Still a boy, though.

I am provisionally in favor of "Joker, Leaned-out Soundcloud Rapper" because the only reason OG Joker wore zoot suits is that's what gangsters of the time wore. Updating the character model made sense and was a good move.
