2016 was nearly ten years ago.

Trump, Biden, and Trump again have undermined the existing medical safety net by refusing to either seriously regulate or nationalize the providers of social insurance products designed pay for it.

And both parties oppose universal healthcare.
NEW: As health insurance bills rise, Republicans are still seeking an Obamacare alternative

There is no legislative product yet.

No consensus in the party about a plan.

But top GOP lawmakers and policy figures on Capitol Hill have begun discussing concepts.

Trump is going down.
When the world's most notorious pedophile, Jeffrey Epstein, says this about you, there's A LOT we don't know about. Yet. But we will.

Trump's completely cooked like a raw steak 🥩

What if there is no meaningful difference between "transnational capital" and "American capital?"

What if so-called liberal democracies are actually ruled by a dictatorship constructed of capital which gives the property-owning class specific class protections and privileges?

What if the American ruling class has real power and privilege that working and disabled Americans don't have because we don't own capital, or own enough of it? 🤔

And here we go.

Working people who are being ignored by politicians who work for the landlord and the boss are "too privileged to vote" and people with no skin in the game are the real working Americans who matter because they donate lots of money.

Anxiety is justified. People who aren't anxious are either sociopaths or clueless and it's disturbing how many are the former.
Once you realize Trump's administration will act like Israel, anxiety is the only normal response.

The fact that people on social media were right suggests that political saviorism isn’t working and we need to be our own heroes.

Doesn’t it?
The important thing is people on social media were right. Hopefully that brings some comfort to those impacted by the situation.

Shows that show the prosecutor as a heroic figure who just wants to punish criminals, without understanding that the system is designed to assume everyone is a criminal despite the legal assumption of innocence.
Reminder that not all copaganda is about positive depictions of cops.

Shows and movies that depict the courts as fundamentally good or fair, that show defense attorneys as liars or manipulators, that show bad actors being punished by a self correcting righteous system...they're copaganda too.

And even shows that aren’t cop shows end up trending towards copaganda.

“Arrow” started out as a show about a vigilante being hunted by the cops for preying on the rich, and he ends up working with the cops.
I hate cop shows and medical shows, so I don't watch much television. It's pretty much all we get in the USA
