Dem leadership will spend more in primaries against candidates like this than against Republicans in the general election. This only works if it's against a handful of candidates. If real progressive Dems ran everywhere it would probably overwhelm their ability to keep these people out.
Worth noting: literally any US born politician could get some of that Mamdani glow by siding with people over billionaires every single time.
Just love your neighbors more than money and fight for them relentlessly!

I actually find it hard to parse the meaning of "reactionary centrist" writing. The vibe is easy: both-sidesing slavery by eliding any moral content and reducing it to a debating point.
