Just saw the Fathom Events pro shot of The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay opera. After various film/TV adaptations didn't come together, nice to see a live-action adaptation of my favorite book that manages to incorporate a lot of the sprawling story. (And it improves on the WWII section.)

I really enjoyed the odd showbiz buddy comedy of Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Ben Kingsley in Wonder Man, but the last MCU project from the "everyone gets their own show" era may baffle a lot of Marvel fans. My review:
Review: Marvel's 'Wonder Man' gets wonderfully weird
The final show of a more expansive era for MCU TV eschews superheroics for a Hollywood buddy comedy with Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Ben Kingsley

Inject this into my veins right now.

(Also, every episode of How To with John Wilson is on HBO Max, and the show is incredible.)

FX's body horror thriller/satire The Beauty is the show Ryan Murphy was put here to make — for good and for ill. My review:
Review: 'The Beauty' is the show Ryan Murphy was born to make — in good ways and bad
A maximalist body horror show is Murphy's most entertaining show in a while — until it isn't
