Just saw the Fathom Events pro shot of The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay opera. After various film/TV adaptations didn't come together, nice to see a live-action adaptation of my favorite book that manages to incorporate a lot of the sprawling story. (And it improves on the WWII section.)

I really enjoyed the odd showbiz buddy comedy of Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Ben Kingsley in Wonder Man, but the last MCU project from the "everyone gets their own show" era may baffle a lot of Marvel fans. My review:

John Wilson's "The History of Concrete" is nothing more or less than a feature-length episode of "How To with John Wilson," which is to say that I laughed a tremendous amount, but when I wasn't laughing, I was feeling stuff deeply.
