Realized recently that the overarching theme of my record collection is music of the African diaspora. Jazz, blues, reggae, soul, funk well represented, some hip-hop (and I’ve been wanting to grow that). Now I’m starting to fill in some gospel, as well as artists like Paul Robeson who defy… 1/x

I’d prefer if the government weren’t actively trying to starve people but it seems like we’ll all be damned if we’re gonna let that happen.

Made zeama, a Moldovan chicken soup, tonight. Not this recipe exactly but this gives you the gist of it. The veg was a bit different but the biggest change is there was no milk in mine.
