Agree. Summers engaging in friendly gossipy 100% sexist emails with underage-girls-sex-trafficker Jeffrey Epstein, long *after* Epstein had been indicted, shows remarkably poor judgement and hubris. Professional economists should openly question people and institutions that honor Summers.

This is effed up on so many levels. We can’t tell from the story, whether or not Hodgson was psychologically unbalanced due to his job or if he was always someone who struggled with mental illness. Either way, citizens aren’t safe when the government is giving such people permission to abuse us.

Super weird decision. It’s not just that “some people feel unsafe” in a vague sense. The convention center is government owned, so trans people could be arrested for using the bathroom. So of course they don’t attend, and important technical meetings don’t happen.
I’m disappointed the CNCF keeps picking deep red states for #KubeCon. It’s unsafe for so many community members. Why not Canada or Mexico?
