At least the ride hailing service does something. 🤪 The robot is likely human operated and not very good even at that. It’s pure pump and dump. There was a risible article in the WSJ that leant a credulous ear to his idiotic claims with almost no push back. And yet…the stock is up again today!

What the headlines didn’t say was that Q4 2025 sales outside of China were mostly made up by the new “cheapo” Model Y Standard, which starts at $39,990 in the US, but lists as low as $34,663 in Korea (implying $8,000 in losses after shipping fees).

This valuation seems much more realistic. The battery storage and charging businesses are valuable. The vaporware parts of the business not so much, and the car business lacks a pipeline of viable future products.

L and if I may say so OL. Someone’s in a death spiral. There is no way to come back from this. Once you are selling too few cars and at too great a loss it’s the same as the population death spiral. It just becomes easier not to buy the car/not to have the baby, and you can never hit replacement.
