With the state of things, I'm not sure Racoons Hourly and Possums Hourly are cutting it in brief distractions of joy. I need more animal accounts. Over on the bad place, I had a capybara and an alligator account, as well as a camelid account. Any animal account recs?

I think a lot about how Halloween has been fucked up for the last 5 years. At the beginning of the pandemic we put runners on our porch so we could stay well more than six feet away and still give out candy. Now we have to patrol our neighborhood for stormtroopers looking to kidnap people.
Loads of families are currently trick or treating from business to business and parking lot to parking lot along 26th Street in Little Village. There’s also loads of rapid responders with vests and whistles patrolling making sure families can enjoy the holiday in peace.

According the victim's attorney, body camera footage captured the officer saying, “Do something, bitch,” before leaping out of the car and shooting her multiple times. Another officer asked, “Hey, what happened?” The first pointed to his camera, “Hey, don’t speak. You’re good.”
