I know our country is taking a nosedive, but I'm sick - not covid. So I'm stuck at home with this cat hole, and the dog who is sitting behind him pretending the cat is not harassing me. I mean just look at his ear array and the extended claws. Cathole! He kneads and I toss the paw back. 😼

I did not realize yesterday was yarn day, because after finding the package on the porch, I never went to the mailbox. More yarn! And for a quick project so I don't jump ahead on the hiberknit. 🧶

I wasn't anticipating this showing up so fast, but it's sssooo pretty!! And of course my swift is in my studio at the shop, so I'll have to wait for the weekend to wind it all. Yes, I'm doing another knit along, which means I may finish it in a few years😂 Anyone else doing the Hiberknitalong? 🧶

Westknits MKAL Shawlography that I started in 2021, that life and disinterest caused me to fall way behind on. Finally off the needles yesterday and blocked overnight. Colorway is a departure from my usual bright and vibrant picks. Still happy with this and love the textures of the pattern. 🧶

My favorite GISH items were the banana bikini and doing your favorite seasonal activity in the opposite season. It was always so much fun.

I wound up making cheer bows too, after a co-worker wanted one. Simplest was easiest and looked the best.

I work in a sexual and reproductive health clinic. As the crafty one, I was asked to embellish an outfit for outreach events. I had a box of expired condoms, which I had to hand sew. I didn't want anyone to look at it up close, cause bad stitching. But it was loved. Never crafting with condoms again

Great job! My son did Hollow Knight a few Halloweens ago and those antennae (?) were so frustrating. It was my first time working with eva foam. I like the simpler cleaner look of yours.

Fathers, are you teaching your sons how to take care of their hair? Cuz some of us moms were raised by cantankerous old women that would rather lop off our hair, then spend their time picking out the twigs and mud and trying to brush it.

A friend gave me two horse jaw bones, which I've now turned into a hanger for woven pieces. Black yarn is alpaca and silk blend, red/yellow is a alpaca. No set pattern, just whatever felt right, but the section on the left my is my fave. Un-pictured companion piece is a blue/green and brown mix 🧶

My mom got a copy of @neilhimself.neilgaiman.com Stardust at HPB she didn't realize was signed till she opened it to read last night. Verified it with a signed copy of TGB from an event 10 yrs ago. These will pass to me & with my copy of Good Omens, each grandchild from me will have a signed book.
