Honestly though this probably solves one of the most common problems with Youth Sports: Parents starting shit
🚨 EXPOSED: Parents are being threatened for recording their own kids’ hockey games. Private equity bought the rinks, banned filming, and now charges up to $50 a month to watch youth sports.

Great news that the Senate has passed the bill forcing the DOJ to release its Epstein file. Now Bondi must comply. But our work cannot stop there. We need to force the Treasury to release the Epstein bank records too. I have a bill to make that happen. FOLLOW THE MONEY.

Bessent's not only hiding these docs, he bizarrely claimed Treasury has no role investigating them at all. It’s a lie. It's impossible someone with his background doesn’t know about Treasury's extensive role investigating the kinds of financial crimes Epstein must have been committing.

What would those records help reveal? Where Epstein got his money. How he acquired and controlled his victims. Who he trafficked them to. What individuals and banks enabled the trafficking. Who else had control of Epstein’s accounts, and what crimes they committed.

The Treasury Department has its own Epstein file containing thousands of bank records. My investigators reviewed a portion of those records last year. I've demanded the Secretary Bessent produce the file for further investigation. He has refused repeatedly.

Let me tell you about the other Epstein files the Trump administration is STILL HIDING — records that aren’t affected by the bill Congress passed today.

the default position for anyone in a position of power in this administration is "you're fired, and also we're going over everything you did with a fine toothed comb, and also if you destroyed records for everything you did we're going after you for that too"

cannot stress enough how important it is to retaliate, because unlike the ginned up bullshit these guys are trying to pin on folks like Comey and James a lot of them are doing actual real big boy crimes

burn the Justice Department to the ground and rebuild from the ashes
Trump will not just be four years of bad management. The culture of these organizations will be fucked for a long time. The pressure to retaliate and clean house will be strong, and no-one wants to work in a war zone.

Is it possible they actually are just this dumb
Hours after Speaker Mike Johnson confidently declared that Senate Republicans would "fix" Thomas Massie's bill requiring release of the Epstein files, the Senate just passed the bill as is by unanimous consent without any changes. A massive, embarrassing debacle for Johnson.

It now goes to Trump...

I think many of my fellow Americans don't realize how dead American hegemony is due to simple time lag if nothing else
Don't take the fact that out diplomats are flattering trump too seriously. We are done and will absolutely get our own nukes etc. US credibility is completely shot.

this is not Bill Barr 2.0. this is in fact explicitly designed *not* to be Barr 2.0 even if they *had* someone as good as Barr, which they don't.
there is a specific provision in the bill that requires the White House to justify any redactions made to Congress. if the DOJ classifies all mention of Trump, they will have to disclose that to Congress along with the legal justification for doing so

Everyone is a spoiled, bratty 12-year-old who votes, except for the actual 12 year olds who are mostly better behaved.
There are many things I admire about America, but one thing I very munch don't is that in some ways it's a profoundly childish society. The political equivalent of stomping one's foot and going "but I *wanna*"
In a way, America was too imperially successful for its own good. It subjugated or eliminated its continental opponents so effectively - and faced no peer land opponents after the revolution - that it genuinely didn't have to take violence seriously except as something that happens to "bad people"

The woman was Hestaby.

I was still “LOL” when the rest of the restaurant started screaming. -L
