I’d never heard of John Doar before. If you haven’t either, give him a google. People like this, all the allies through history, give the lie to “but those were different times”. There have always been people raised in privilege who still knew right from wrong and took on the status quo.
Well, after eight years of research, writing and revision, I just sent the full manuscript for THE DIVISION: JOHN DOAR, THE JUSTICE DEPARTMENT, AND THE CIVIL RIGHTS MOVEMENT to my publisher.

This is happening, people. Whether you want it or not.

Im sure there will be no issues there at all.

So, fun parrot story: back in the late 80s, I worked night audit at a cheap motel. And one of the things that cheap motels would get is coke dealers who just set up shop there. Private entrance, no ID, and the ability to just scram if you draw the wrong sort of attention.
there's been like sixteen panels of professor ian cameron yelling impotently at a parrot, which is cursing back at him, but sure, the tiny 2001 twins complimenting some boots, that's the winner

Over at the Bad Place, Rod Dreher was complaining that the Pope never discussed his book. He gets into it with someone who replied, because his book is, he says, really important. Reply guy: “You need to remember that he’s the Pope, and you’re someone arguing on Twitter with a cartoon rabbit.”

I take on average 10,000 stills and a half hour of video every week. Most I'll never think about again. This I'll hold onto until I grow old. 4 hours ago.

Zero edits. No recoloring. No cropping. Nothing. Just straight up reality. 🦑

Prosecute them all. Beyond the depravity of this, it's pure theft. The local prosecutor should open an investigation and charge them all.
ICE detain father shopping on Christmas Eve—then steal his family's groceries.

Then 3 agents divvy up his paid for food—taking what they want for themselves.

"Can I just get the wife's number to call and let her know?" woman asks.

"No, guess he should've complied," agent says.

Too many with power still see a few minutes for car owners as too high a price to pay to provide safety and dignity for everyone else.

You have changed my life.”
