Minnesotan’s are showing up in their neighborhoods armed with weapons protected by the 2nd amendment and the Right is absolutely losing their shit.

I believe it's necessary to augment the critique of neoliberalism to account for the resurgence of the particular kind of authoritarian, militaristic, patriarchal fascism we have right now. The critics of neoliberalism were & are right, but there is more to be right about now
I spoke to the Secretary-General of NATO, Emmanuel Macron, Keir Starmer, Friedrich Merz and Giorgia Meloni.

Together we stand firm in our commitment to uphold the sovereignty of Greenland and the Kingdom of Denmark.

Its crazy the gradual increase of pleas we've made to ICE
Hey can you wear a name tag?
Hey do you have a warrant
Hey can you please not wear masks?
Hey can you please not murder us?

The hell with training, that organization doesn't need to exist anymore.

Me: Do you know when the Super Bowl is?
Bae: No. Two weeks maybe? I think there was football yesterday
Me: ...the Falcons and the Seahawks are trending, and unfortunately I don't think it's about the actual birds

I have homework for men
ICE seems to get completely flummoxed when they’re being yelled at by white men over 35. They kind of put their heads down and shuffle their feet. It’s like their kryptonite.

This message also goes hand in hand with racism. Because if some racial groups are oppressed, it's easier for White people to believe they'll get to be well-off. And even if they don't get to be well-off, they still get the psychological perk of being better off than others.

I agree with this 100%

I also would add a larger then comfortable portion of the white population desperately wants the non white population of the country to be worse off, even at their own expense.
The US is a great place to live for the super rich and super famous. For everyone else, plenty of other places would offer a better life. And yet, a big chunk of the latter group doesn't demand better from the US, because the former group convinced them that they too could be rich or famous someday.

Flat departmental budgets (inflation-adjusted) from 2016–2025

Explosive growth in central administration spending

The result is a university increasingly run around teaching and research rather than for them
