P.S. I was raised by generations of Black women who didn't care about Black men's opinions about their hair, including their fathers, husbands, and boyfriends. Just saying!

Our hair journey is not the same as the brothas' hair journey. They have their own battles to fight! Our hair is OUR business.

Word. The Black women who are leads and supporting characters in SF & action shows I've watched in this span of years have absolutely killed it. Every time.
The demand is there. Studios need to stop putting the same guys in everything

This is the strategy. You'd think subject matter experts would see the political favoritism or at the very least believe their colleagues' expertise allows them to see something they haven't accounted for, but it be your own people
