we can actually stand by the criticisms we have of elected Democrats and fight to win back Congress in November, through something called “primaries”

UPDATE: The Senate votes 53-47 to shoot down the Baldwin amendment to extend ACA funds for 1 year. A party-line vote with every Republican rejecting it.
An important vote in this series: Tammy Baldwin’s proposal to extend ACA expiring funds for 1 year. It’s structured as a motion to table (i.e. scrap it from the amendment tree). But it’ll show the appetite (or lack thereof) in the Senate to address this issue.

SEATTLE!!!

We’ve now taken the lead by 91 votes! 🤯 This thing is certainly not over! Over 1,000 ballots have been challenged, so if you haven’t tracked your ballot yet get on it! Our trusty volunteers have been working hard to "cure" ballots so they count! We're so close!

HT to @dansuitor.bsky.social; the DOJ indictment against Clase and Ortiz has been unsealed. Not only were they rigging pitches for outside bettors based on Ball/Strike and pitch speed over/unders; they were sometimes betting on their own rigged pitches.

Exhibit A: the mayor of New York
Absolutely.

The far right took over the GOP through the long process of taking over local and county organizations and the left can do the same. It’s not an instant fix but it actually works.
Join your county Democratic Party! There are shockingly few people willing to show up and those are the people who get to make decisions

Good news, from where I'm sitting. Among other things, Fuleihan played a big role in getting universal pre-kindergarten pushed through quickly, against a conventional wisdom that it would take years.

for every craven Democratic senator you invite on a news program to defend not fighting for anything, you should have to grant equal time to a House Democrat incandescently angry at being tied to these clowns when they run for re-election next year
