⭐️This person is one of my favorite people to follow. I especially love his passion about sports and the paragraphs like this one where I do NOT UNDERSTAND A SINGLE WORD. The less I get it, the more fun for me. (Not an invitation for anyone to explain it.)
Tua unloading an underthrown deep shot into double coverage after having a full 3.5 seconds to bounce around in the pocket with two underneath guys open is definitely something else

a big runoff last night, in New Orleans:

Calvin Duncan was exonerated after spending *28 years* in prison; he tried to get his own case records from the New Orleans city clerk—but the office dragged its feet.

So Duncan ran to become city clerk himself, and yesterday ousted the incumbent.

Duncan, a political newcomer and former prisoner, defeated incumbent Darren Lombard by a wide margin in Saturday's runoff.

Born February 22, 1975, Drew Barrymore is 18,530 days old today, matching Wilford Brimley’s age on the day ‘Cocoon’ was released. Congrats Drew! You’ve reached the Brimley/Cocoon Line.

Lowkey the worst part about losing to this particular Dodgers team is that a lot of their players are actually pretty likeable.

I’d put BNS in the same tier as Davidi, or maybe in his own tier just slightly below—I think he’s got legit sources, sound and conservative judgment about what to report, and he’s precise with his language about what’s rumour (and how believable it might be) and what’s fact.
This post from the Blue Jays subreddit is actually a really solid guide of who to trust in the MLB offseason

This is the funniest possible image to be an alt text scold about
Here’s that image with alt text.

Without it, blind & low-vision people are excluded from accessing what you post, since screen-readers generally cannot do images (even images of text).

Also, search & mute words cover alt text, so it lets people find or avoid your post if they want to.
