Seeing a lot of folks who either don’t know what the usual numbers look like or who didn’t go look at the demographics and methodology and are treating this as a _meh_ data point when anything close to this would be earth-shaking. Idk if that deal was right or the best timing, but people have been nuts. The GOP budget was what finished the subsidies. Harris ran on extending them. People needed to vote. We’re in a good position for the next round in Feb. It wasn’t nothing. The suffering’s on the GOP & voters/enablers.

The emails that you’re seeing now are news in themselves, but that’s because of how they’re coming out—a congressional committee released them—& the context in which they’re being viewed. A guy emailing a reporter talking about old girlfriends or saying someone is “dirty” is not a whole news story.

At the same time the NY Times was hyping Hillary Clinton's emails, it had a reporter with emails from Jeffrey Epstein that were highly damaging to Trump.
The more NYT apologists try to minimize this the clearer it becomes that they don't understand why much of the public doesn't trust legacy media.
