The only "smart" tech i have in my apartment are Hue light bulbs, light switches, and a base station to coordinate them all. There are no mics or speakers anywhere and since I use a dumbphone, the smartphone that has the app for the lights stays turned off and lives in a drawer in a closet.

If you use GMail, AI (Gemini) was turned on yesterday by default and now scans all of your content for machine learning. To turn off, go to Settings>General and scroll down. Uncheck the box for "Smart features."
There's other "Smart" add-ons as well, but that's the one that reads your content.

When you keep in touch with most of your friends through electronic means, it's only natural that every now and then there's a lull where they're all busy touching grass at the same time.
I just wish that didn't always seem to come when I'm crashing mentally/emotionally.

The Alaska National Guard has responded to public concerns around a rapid response unit trained for "civil disturbance operations:" 100 service members will be trained "to support civil authorities."

...they literally make USB-C-to-3.5mm adapters? They even ship smartphones with them?
KOSS even has a whole line of products (Utility Series) that have interchangeable cords with 3.5mm, USB-C, & Lightning connectors.

Not to be the fun police but I do hope people know that Arc Raiders does use generative AI for voice acting, and by supporting the game you're letting higher-ups know that this is an okay practice.
They try to downplay this on the Steam store page by describing the AI usage as vaguely as possible.
