I feel like my late uncle had one of these. The only "smart" watch I ever wore as EDC was a Skagen hybrid smart watch, which didn't have a digital screen and instead gave you info on notifications by vibrating & spinning its hands around to point at a different hour marker for each notification type

Smart watches are the step I never actually took as far as EDC was concerned. I have a lower-tier Garmin with built-in GPS to track jogs/runs/hikes/bikes but only for that. Just wear a normal quartz Skagen most of the time or this one Fossil I've had for 20 years

I am trying so goddamn hard to light fires under people here (I work for Caltrans dealing with passenger rail) to try and find any and all ways we can shore up our existing services before the holidays but even though people WANT to, we can't move quick enough. If a HIGHWAY bridge washes out tho...
