If you let him get away with this, he’ll do it with Iran and whatever other neocon bugaboos have been lingering around conservative media since Obama first started running. Maybe Greenland but less intense because white. One of them will invariably respond in the mainland U.S. Stop him before then.

You should be embarrassed to be a member of congress and issuing anything other than impeachment resolutions. You're in the model UN. They should give you legos and a propeller hat

I tell my students who talk about their hands hurting or how inefficient note-taking feels to try cursive. It's basically the only way I made it through college and grad school with an existing nerve injury in my dominant arm. It's fast and feels better

🖋️ cursive 4ever 🖋️
I don’t think this is fully true—you have a pretty extensive record of non-cursive scripts for, eg, illuminated manuscripts prior to printing. I think the main purpose of cursive was speed. And if people would move back to gel ink you’d find cursive much more pleasant than with a ball point.
Cursive was a derivative of using quills and fountain pens. Everytime the quill was lifted from or placed onto paper or parchment, the risk of making a mess was high. Ball point pens don't have this problem.

If your position is that regime change should be forced on countries where the president does not respect democratic norms and regularly kidnaps opponents using an officially sanctioned paramiliatary, have I got news for you about your position on the United States

one thing about congress that's become very blatant in my life is that they actually kinda enjoy the executive bypassing them all the time to do military shit. this way, their fingerprints don't have to be on any of it. preferring a lack of responsibilities and accountability to their own power.
