Australia’s economic complexity ranking is at a low. @albomp.bsky.social’s response - cut CSIRO staff by 300 - 350🤦‍♂️.

Plenty of money for opulent projects like #AUKUS to fill foreign wallets, not so much money for our future prosperity. #auspol

Deathly silent, 2 out of 3 corals in the Ningaloo reef have been killed.
About 90% of the extra heat on the planet has been taken up by the ocean.

Better approve some more gas fields and coal mines.
Scientists say they are "speechless" after witnessing significant coral death at the World Heritage-listed Ningaloo Reef.

@albomp.bsky.social and @australianlabor.bsky.social need to be held accountable. Media talk about the stupid coalition is just a distraction. The duopoly does never loses because people are choosing between evil and lesser evil. Wake up.
Over the past 8 months, the deadly algal bloom in South Australia has ravaged over 20,000 square kilometres of the marine environment, killed an estimated 1 million animals from more than 550 species & had widespread impacts on human health.

We need Change
The impacts of the algal bloom are still evident along our South Australian shores, dead fish scattered as far as the morning walk. To face the climate change driven causes behind this national disaster Australia needs a firm commitment to stopping the expansion of fossil fuels.

Overtly racist, downplaying Australian retailers involvements, while highlighting Chinese retailers and suppliers.

Then this:
"It's a matter for suppliers to determine the risk of the products that they are selling and to engage in appropriate testing."

When you’re so deep into dehumanising refugees you convince yourself there must be a nefarious reason they take care of their children rather than yknow, love
BBC News: "the government believe refugees are deliberately bringing their children to avoid deportation"

As opposed to doing what with their children??

If you are still banking with the big 4, you really need to start thinking. Even if you do not care about the planet that you live on, chances are that you care about your money, and will easily find better accounts elsewhere.

It might be time for decent people to overthrow their evil governments.

Just a thought.
How It Started vs. How It's Going

And surely even Denmark "borrowed" that "idea" from Nazi Germany. I cannot be the only person thinking this, Keir Starmer. Make sure you check their teeth for gold. It's what all genocidaires do. #UKPolitics #HumanRightsAbuses

Shitty render, doesn't even have a swastika, or a trail of candy.
The fools who sold us $375 billion AUKUS nuclear submarines are now telling us they will cost more, a lot more. Their war plans with China, their surrender to Trump and their back of-the-envelope costings are all super dangerous. Don’t trust them.

Find something decent to do, the world does not revolve around the humans who are alive now. Nothing is more important than the environment that sustains us all.
Honestly can we stop making false sensationalist headlines like this crap!

Grow fuck up and do a story about the entirety of the town and what’s new benefits.

Ban all unnecessary plastics. Please.

I don’t use plastic bags. I use cotton cloth and string bags. Most times I don’t use any bags at all. I just pack the goods loose in my trolley/shopping cart and transfer them to my car. Then I carry them into my house one arm full at a time. Easy.
The plastic bag ban thing was just such a ridiculous waste of political capital, we really need to pre filter this stuff way way better
