I have to clarify about Trump threatening to decertify Canadian-made aircraft. This has nothing to do with who owns these aircraft but that they are made in Canada and many US carriers own them which would mean they woud have be removed from their fleet causing chaos for short haul distances.

I can remember doing MRPs in polling before they were called MRPs, and using rolling samples of between 10,000 and 30,000 respondents a month over periods of years. Because that was just called political modeling and it worked. I'm not a fan of the current generation of commercial pollsters.
