Show me a “family values” campaigner who scrubs up ok. One of Australia’s most prominent Catholic family values politicians was, anecdotally, spotted picked up from a house that wasn’t in his suburb in a commonwealth car, being waved off by a woman who looked nothing like his wife, by a contact. 🤷♀️

It's telling that the GOP is able to take libertarians for granted as supporters. Sure sign of how libertarians don't take their own damn values seriously and are so ready to compromise on them.

The fact that we not only aid Israel’s continuing violence and murder-by-deprivation is bad enough. That we also silence Palestinians expressing their more-than-merited grief & anger is only made possible because too many in power accept that Muslim, esp Palestinian, lives don’t matter. #Auspol

This is surreal. 4 Oglala Lakota men kidnapped by ICE in Minneapolis have finally been located. One of them was released but the other 3 are being held at Fort Snelling, a former concentration camp used to imprison Native people incl. the Dakota 38 during Dakota Wars.

It is so blatant that right-wing forces are calling for this royal commission because they want a few months of viciously xenophobic anti-immigration headlines - something that directly contributes to worse safety for everyone, surely including Australia's Jewish community.
