There are a lot of people of people who underestimated the threat Trump posed, and the press -- including @usatoday.com -- should be engaged in a little fucking introspection as to how that might have happened.

I'm sure others have pointed this out but it seems significant that the Supreme Court has been simultaneously expanding its powers while weakening some key powerscof the lower courts. Like UET, but for Article III.
