The Dig" is not mass entertainment. Episodes are long and unapologetically academic-for listeners who want to "jump into the deep end of left politics," as Denvir puts it. (The Guardian once called him "a socialist Terry Gross.") He has interviewed nearly every star intellectual on the left, as well as Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio- Cortez (twice each). The politicians may or may not have time to listen, but their staffers certainly do. "Within my world-leftist organizers, lapsed academics, or political-campaign staff, all of which I am-the show is incredibly influential," Andrew Epstein, Mamdani's creative director, said.

Banned from any public demonstration or event in London relating to Palestine or 'israel. 2. Curfewed to live and sleep at a specified address. 3. Must notify a detective if I leave home for more than 48 hours. Yesterday, the chair of the tribunal cut me off from reading out one sentence. The GMC had also specifically requested that I am not to speak. This is what the political persecution of a doctor looks like in Britain today.

By the time he got back, he was already at work on a culture war screed, The Diversity Myth: Multiculturalism and Political Intolerance on Campus, which he co-wrote with fellow Stanford Review alum David O. Sacks. A conservative Bay Area think tank called the Independent Institute published the book in 1995. The John M. Olin Foundation, the conservative nonprofit dedicated to nurturing a "counter-intelligentsia," which had also supported D'Souza, gave the Independent Institute a $40,000 grant to publicize it. The Young America's Foundation, the conservative youth movement that groomed Jeff Sessions and Stephen Miller, among others, promoted the book, as did Thiel himself-he handed out copies from a giant stack to anyone who wanted

At the most recent launch, Roskam praised Kennedy for his latest tilt, and called the emergence of the Liberal Democrats as a "significant" moment for Australian politics. But in a speech which quoted recent conversations with prominent Canadian conservative Jordan Peterson and also told the story of his own ill-fated bid for Liberal preselection, Roskam revealed that even his own agnosticism has limits. The Trump I theory of the case is bizarre and conspiratorial. Trump Il appears to believe that this sea change in American culture-the belief that America is not a white man's republic, but a republic in which all men and women are endowed with certain inalienable rights-was a result of a cabal of Marxist professors and other elites, the "Cathedral," which brainwashed the youth of America, and if they can simply find the Cathedral's funding and cut it off, Americans will go back to loving the boot. They just need to kill the woke mind virus. The demand that Harvard accept a group of political commissars to ensure "viewpoint diversity" (aka affirmative action for rightwing incompetents) embodies this.
