The Greens' other stamps say:

➡️Build public & affordable homes
➡️Stop unlimited rent increases
➡️Give loans to owner occupiers rather than property investors
➡️Regulate banks & bring down mortgages

The $100m BoM website update shows exactly why we need to build capacity in the public service and reduce our over reliance on consultants.

A robust public service will always provide better value for money and better quality for the taxpayer dollar.

Watch ATO’s Rob Heferen panic & go red in the face as Barbara Pocock questions why they pushed Michael O’Neill into a new role, after he was investigating the PwC scandal.
Pocock asks if he’s made any complaints.

Labor’s inaction on the housing crisis is forcing women to choose between violence & homelessness. Specialist Homelessness Services are receiving on average 350 requests each day for help that they can’t meet. Women & children are the majority of clients and 40% of cases are DV related.

How to wave off a problem:

- Commission a review
- Ignore key recommendations
- Don’t enshrine anything in legislation
- Keep giving jobs to the boys 🤙

Woolworths is exploiting affordable housing development schemes to fast-track new supermarket & luxury apartment complexes while rental vacancy rates are at record lows, 175,000 on social housing waiting lists & 1st home buyers can't compete with wealthy property investors.

We welcome APRA taking action in response to the Greens’ & community concerns for the massive spike in investor lending. However, this alone won’t cool investors’ stampede of the housing market. Jim Chalmers must direct APRA to use their levers to curb runaway investor lending.

Did you know the definition of ‘housing stress’ is when 30% of your household income is taken up by your rent or mortgage?

This isn’t normal.

How ludicrous for Labor to cut $5 billion in public services during a cost of living crisis. Every six months the government pays around $5b in Fuel Tax Credits to mining corporations to burn fossil fuels. If Labor is going to cut spending, cut handouts to fossil fuel barons.

Labor has backflipped on its 2022 election promise to rebuild the public sector with its intentions to slash 5% of spending off the public service. If Labor wants to tighten the public purse then rein in overspending on consultancy firms instead of cutting the public service.

A nightmare. Since March 2020, home values have risen by 47.3%, lifting the median dwelling value $280,000 to $872,500. The price-to-income ratio, years to save a deposit, & the share of income needed for rent are all at record highs. And homelessness. www.abc.net.au/news/2025-11...
