Why have the major parties teamed up to delay the right to work from home? Why stand in the way of modest, sensible reform that makes sense for modern day workers? The right to WFH for up to 2 days a week is essential for so many juggling work and caring responsibilities.

The Greens want to restore super to its original purpose of providing a dignified retirement for working Australians.
The Liberal's split super bill won’t do that.

🚨BREAKING🚨
Labor has just voted AGAINST granting super to workers under 18.
The Greens amendment would have seen all workers under 18 have the right to superannuation contributions, regardless of how many hours they worked.

The Greens have a plan to extend the superannuation guarantee to all under 18's ensuring they are paid super contributions regardless of how many hours they work, because every worker deserves super on every dollar earned.

Every worker deserves super. Under 18's pay taxes and contribute to our economy, why shouldn't they be paid super?

Anything amiss with our $181 bn incentives for wealthy property investors? Any contribution to overheated housing demand? Any role in driving fastest house price rises in 4 years of vertical house price increases? Asking for an anxious FHBuyer.

Unless we have a properly built debarment regime we will be back here again. The Govt must have the power to impose appropriately apportioned bans (for up to 5 years) from Govt contracts for bad behaviour.

Huge rally for Free Palestine today - I think the biggest ever. South Australian’s want a just, lasting peace, Palestinian statehood and self-determination, hostages free, pursuit of war criminals and an end to any Australian public investment in armaments.

A slap on the wrist behind closed doors undermines the case put forward by Finance that the culture of PwC is all cleaned up, which was their justification for allowing PwC back into the fold of government contracts. #auspol

Wonder how the intergenerational pay conversation in PwC is unfolding, with the AFR reporting that there are now more ex-partners on PwC’s retirement scheme than those currently working for PwC.

How we ‘fess up when we mess up shows who we are. Pay it all back Deloitte. And apologise. Give yrsrlf some procurement teeth Labor: the capability to ban for poor behaviour, commensurate with the misdemeanour, up to 5 yrs.

Labor pledged to save $6.4bn through cutting the government's use of consultants and external labour, and yet here they are forking out more. The government's focus must be on rebuilding the public service for core work functions.

A big four consultancy firm has used AI in a report that had several errors, and charged the Australian taxpayer with the bill. I am livid.

Shame on Deloitte. Bigger shame on Govt for using them for core public sector work: $440k contract for rubbish: “Deloitte has admitted to using generative AI for a core analytical task; but it failed to disclose this in the first place.”
