One of the rad-est things that has ever happened is Motoi Sakuraba opening the arranged version of 'Blood on the Keys' like it's a slow ballad version for 20 seconds before going 'nah' and doing it full tempo on piano with bass and drum accompaniment.

This is objectively correct. Sure, Krillin's a pervert, but he's too anxious and broke to do anything about it. Roshi is too conspicuous and also doesn't have email, so he's out.
Look

Of all the Dragon Ball characters who COULD be in the Epstein files, Yamcha makes the most sense

- Washed-up athlete
- Had access to unsupervised fortune
- Massive jealousy complex(es)
- Arrested development as young teen
- Known adulterer
- Still hangs out with high school friends
fuck…Yamcha is mentioned in the Epstein files

Hell yes, Gary. I hope I'd be able to make the same decision if I was ever in that spot. It's easiest to have principles when no one's offering anything for you to ignore them.
I got asked if I want to pitch on (another) major franchise reboot at Paramount. I replied saying that I can't in good conscience work for a guy who is currently sitting down to dinner with Donald Trump, Elon Musk, and Mohammed bin Salman. Maybe I'm my own worst enemy, but... fuck to the no.

The sad thing is every time this story gets adapted it's almost entirely the very boring Superman v Doomsday fight and not the good build-up to Doomsday or the absolutely brilliant World Without a Superman/Reign of the Supermen parts. Difficult to adapt it all, but they keep doing the worst bit!
33 Years ago today Superman 75 dropped, the Death of Superman. A great issue, and seriously, the Death of Superman/World Without a Superman/Reign of Supermen is one of the great overall cape comic stories.

This is a core element of conservative philosophy: If a single "undeserving" person is getting a government benefit, the answer is to take it away from millions.*

*Offer does not apply to tax loopholes or any other benefit enjoyed by the wealthy

I'm going to actively say at this point that I don't think people should donate to any Dem-run PACs. What guarantee do we have that they won't give the money to cowards to stave off primary challengers?

I mean, it rather feels like the reverse will happen.

Genuinely, if this is what's holding the next film up, you need to fire everyone who thinks this is a problem, because they literally have no understanding of the franchise they're working on.
James Bond’s death in No Time to Die is causing a nightmare for the next film. Writers are stuck because Bond “was blown to pieces.”

Anthony Horowitz, author of three 007 novels, says:

“You can't have him wake up in shower and saying it was all a dream."

This is honestly the best we can hope for from a character that was created by Capcom's NA branch to promote NES games, canceled and discarded, and then brought back 2 years later to star in his own arcade game because someone at Capcom Japan liked the design. He doesn't know how he ended up here!!
the way captain commando says his own name at the end of the game is so good. world's most mild superhero

The entire party is complicit and should not receive a dime in fundraising until they jettison Schumer and Durbin as their leaders.
The coordinated nature of this—none are facing voters in 2026—means that either Schumer approved it or failed in his job as Senate Majority Leader to stop it.

Dems voting "no" get zero credit until they demand a change in leadership. Schumer out as Leader, Durbin out as Whip.
so currently defectors are:

Kaine (2030)
Shaheen (Retiring)
Hasan (2028)
Fetterman (2028)
Durbin (Retiring)
CCM (2028)
Rosen (2030)
King (2030)

look I know being an engaged citizen IS the work of democracy but it is also the work of elected officials not to create situations where everyone has to be mobilized all the time to prevent them from allowing some kind of Dickensian horror on a Sunday night while you're in between loads of laundry

it’s cute that they think we’ll forget

if they work together to keep everyone’s hands off it who is up for re-election anytime soon that just reinforces that this was a strategy more of them agreed on than the ones who vote yes. nuke them all from orbit
It doesn't actually matter if Chuck Schumer votes for this or not.

If he can't keep his caucus unified to protect healthcare for over 10 million Americans, he should resign as leader.
