The Darabont one with the downer ending is perfect. Doesn’t King have like another million books they could make into a movie? Has someone tried to salvage the premise of Tommyknockers and make it good?

Literally just heard an NPR piece where they uncritically claimed that the registration gap is because the party is “too far Left for the average American.” No, the party is not in line with its potential voters. The GOP base are Nazis and the party caters to them; the Dems cater to Nazis too.
The reason democrats have tanked in past elections has a lot to do with their leadership constantly betraying their electorate for large corporate sponsors and moving further and further to the right with every election cycle, with no intention of actual progress, and then gaslighting us about it.
