Todd Blanche would have had these emails before interviewing Maxwell. Why didn’t he question her directly about her exchanges? Why did he not follow up when she said things that were onviously a lie?? This shows that was a performance intended to dupe the public and benefit her (and Trump)

I genuinely believe that one of our few paths to defeat this authoritarian attack is to get lucky with SCOTUS seats. We need GOP dysfunction keeping at least 2 of Alito/Thomas/Roberts on the bench into 2027. And we need to retake the Senate so we can keep Trump from replacing all three.
Loser shit. If Republicans win the Senate in 2026, the first thing that happens is Clarence Thomas and Sam Alito and possibly John Roberts resign and a 6-3 majority is enshrined for at least 20 years.

If 40 million people go hungry, it would be because the Trump administration ignored a court order, not because Democrats fought for Article I powers.
I think one thing we lose sight of is that it’s really easy to chant that we gotta touch the stove, and it’s a completely different thing to be the owner of the ongoing decision that 40 million people gotta go hungry. That’s a heavy thing and I’m not at all surprised that some Dems are worried.
