“Will you pardon the convicted child sex trafficker” has one correct answer, and everyone with intact moral intuitions knows what that is. When Trump failed to say “No, of course not” it should have been a show stopper, not another instance of “Trump being Trump”. WH reporters should be ferocious.

Perhaps we should deport all people who think the 2020 election was stolen for the actions of this one person

During interviews with the FBI, the suspect arrested in the pipe bomb probe told investigators that he believed the 2020 election was stolen, people briefed on the matter said.

Write my final college thesis over a decade ago of Cultivation Theory. Never imagined it would play such a huge role in the absolute destruction of America
I have had so many long conversations with seniors about stuff and if they only watch 24 hour news, and I don't care what channel, they are convinced the world is lawless, they're scared, and the know everyone is coming for them. No one believes me when I say crime is down.
there is no more shared reality. www.cnn.com/2025/12/04/p...

Imagine if they just subsidized newspapers and magazines the way they’re subsidizing this slop
"All of this falls apart if humans don't adopt the tech. This is why you've seen Meta cram its lame chatbots into WhatsApp and Instagram. This is why Notepad and Paint now have useless Copilot buttons on Windows. This is why Google Gemini wants to "help you" read and reply to your emails."
Analysis: OpenAI is a loss-making machine, how can it survive?
Don't call it a bubble! Loss-making monster OpenAI is on the hook for $1.4 trillion (with a T) in compute commitments. How can this go on?

Seriously. And it isn't just Tesla. Tech companies are laying people off en masse and replacing American workers so they can lock in their H-1B indentured servants.

Because American tech workers had the gall to actually force the C-Suite and shareholder assholes to share a bit of the profits
Bernie woke up, went on X, and chose violence.

That's how much Big Oil has spent over the last 30 years paying off Congress to look the other way on climate action while the planet burns.

Well, the planet is burning.
Don't let them look away.

They got cold feet about the tactic of calling them weird… which they are, and was genuinely resonating and making republicans mad. I cannot imagine them actually using genuine fighting words.
Really wanna know what the plan is—30 years into the era of Republicans gobbling up media to slander Dems and minorities as widely as possible—beyond “continue to ignore and hope it stops.” Maybe Dems can’t compete, but they could say, like, “these people are lying scum and we won’t work with them.”

Another home run from the Garland run DOJ. He has been an absolute embarrassment
NEW: Three senior DOJ officials committed misconduct by leaking investigative details to the New York Post near the end of Trump's first presidency in an apparent effort to sway the 2020 election, an inspector general report obtained by Reuters found.

just like "inflation" in the 2020s, "debt" was just the best weapon at hand to attack a Dem administration and try to cripple to US economy at hand. The media happily obliged and made a big issue out of it. Dems then stupidly tried to engage in good faith, foolishly assuming people genuinely cared.
This is the most boring angle on the Greenland stuff, but the Obama-era Debt Panic (2009-2016) gets stupider every year.

From “the stimulus will turn us into Greece” to “let’s cut more taxes and also buy $1 billion of glaciers.”

I don’t remember any Democrats threatening Zuckerberg with life in prison, but funnily enough that’s exactly what Trump did before receiving this mewling submission.
What tangible wins did Dems get for their anti-tech crusade to offset pissing off big tech and radicalizing CEO’s/VC’s into supporting Trump?

Just an incredible waste of money and resources on a technology that most people have zero interest in
Never in my career have I seen such a giant gulf between What Companies Think Is the Most Important Thing in the World and What Normal People Have Absolutely Any Interest in Whatsoever

There’s an unfortunate belief among Dems that projecting high mindedness will lift the national character and, in the face of that, the GOP will self-reform. I would say that it’s spectacularly wrongheaded.
