It is barely worth saying that the demand from overseas nationals is minimal compared with the reliance the NHS has on overseas workers. But this isn't the point. The point is that this is fascist rhetoric from a Labour MP. And I know I should no longer be surprised about this

My main beef with this thread is that the pro-police, pro-prison sentiment is credited to the left and then every example is about Democrats.
A lot of people do not want to hear that there is an intense pro-police and pro-prison turn among the left. E.g. the drive to limit the pardon power, which is the only way some people get any relief from excessive sentencing on the state and federal level.
