No it hasn't. What planet are we on? Canada's auto industry has ways been inextricably linked with US companies, and Oil and Gas. We haven't built a strong energy grid to support EVs in Canada, nor have we opened markets to competitive EVs. Hell at one point only Tesla's qualified for EV rebates.
Canada’s auto industry has adapted, pivoted, and when necessary, transformed. That’s what we must do now — to build good careers, greater prosperity, and a stronger, more independent Canadian economy.
