I like reading old forums for games like FF Tactics because it’s just sickos arguing over the minutiae of stat growth for a game where you can one shoot the final boss or posts bragging about how this notoriously hard fight is actually easy with hours of prep to setup some arcane strategy.

If you think about it Virtua Fighter Kids is one of the weirdest games. How did it get made and sold as an independent, stand alone title? If it were released today people would go apeshit. It wouldn’t even fly as a dlc expansion. 90’s Sega was wild.

My dad just gave me a brand new MK9 special edition with the giant joystick. He says it’s been sitting in his house for years. I have no idea where it came from? Maybe I ordered it in 2011, never opened it, and forgot? Or won it for some tournament? Idk lol merry Christmas to me I guess.

I’ve wondered if Rayman 2 held up. I played it at the PS2 launch and never revisited it but I remember it being good and it’s highly regarded.
I’m playing it now on NSO and have half the masks. The answer is…no. It’s whatever. 🤷♀️ ppl putting it up there with Banjo or Mario 64 are bonkers.
