I like N64 fighting games. They’re either good arcade ports of western games or WEIRD.

I played that version as a kid more than arcade. I didn't know any better so I just thought that was the typical Pac-Man game and that it was really good 🤷‍♀️

My fav in DA is Kitana(she’s my favorite MK character of all time) and in Deception it’s Sindel!

I feel like when Metroid experiments with narrative or linearity it often doesn’t land but…it means it’s one of the best games of its given year instead of one of the best games of all time. So I can’t be too worried. 🤷‍♀️

I remember always seeing the ps1 version at the video store and based on the box art assuming it was Star Fox with FMV cutscenes that were very serious for serious people. Idk if my mental image was real but in hindsight if it is that sounds awesome.

Like I was imagining that pole arm thing in Sektor’s MK3 throw. Or the thing Smoke uses to drop the bomb into your mouth.

Why would a robot metal arm have his human head on it? I don’t know, I just thought it was weird. 🤷‍♀️
