the BBC did a great service by identifying 442 GPs who don’t take mental health seriously. presumably, they will now release the data.

I’ll just hold my breath while I wait.
The fact that many GPs don't believe people with mental health conditions will not be news to those of us with mental health conditions who have had to deal with these cunts.

Kudos on the BBC for continuing to manufacture consent to take away our rights and healthcare though.
'Life being stressful is not an illness' - GPs on mental health over-diagnosis
Hundreds of GPs in England tell the BBC they are also worried about a lack of help for patients.

btw the implicit statement here is that @rentouljohn.bsky.social is perfectly a-okay with a policy platform as far right as reform’s provided it comes stamped with labour party branding.

‘centrism’ is the smile of fascism.
4. No, it does not mean Labour should turn to the left: that would boost Reform in those Lab-Reform marginals

“Betrayed by institutions they thought they could trust”

“The establishment closed ranks to hide the truth. And the imbalance of power as the State used public money to defend its interests and act in the most intimidating way”
'Hillsborough Law will end the culture of obfuscation and cover-up'
Prime Minister Keir Starmer says that the new Hillsborough Law 'is a watershed in the fight for a state that treats working people with the respect they deserve'

metoo didn't rewrite anything about consent.

im tired of guys saying 'the rules are too complicated'.

if you think the 'rules are too complicated' then you're a proper danger.
The definition of it has changed dramatically

MeToo completely rewrote the word, of what it even means

Only ten years ago it was use of physical force only, maybe chemical restraints like a special sleep drug

Booze?

Badgering?

Emotional blackmail?

Retroactive revocation of consent?

Yuuuuuup. They don't define it in any substantive way, instead performing what amounts to rhetorical slight of hand, claiming the SDA 1975 defines it when it says in its own decision that the definition is "inferred". Brilliant.
I don't believe anyone's a "biological woman" because that's a term specifically constructed to utilize as a cudgel against us, to the point that even the UK Supreme Court opinion DID NOT PROVIDE A DEFINITION, and said it was simply "common sense".

Why debate a term they refuse to even stand by?
@femi-oluwole.bsky.social did a video recently where he said "of course none of us really believe that trans women are biological women" and I believe he meant well in doing so, he wanted to look reasonable, and I think he genuinely was defending trans women from the accusations of madness we face.

THE CHAFF PROJECT

Hi! Are you cis in the UK and you'd like to support trans rights? Great!

How: buy a trans flag pin and wear it in public.

Why: chaff is an overwhelming amount of false positives so that when a missile gets close to the plane, it hits the chaff and not the plane.

then a bunch of ppl were like ‘are they stupid? do they think reform will help them?’.

no and no. they’ve given up and simply want revenge on liberals. spite is all that’s left.

i fully understand it.

I want to get back into work, but I can't. Know why not? I'M TOO DISABLED.

Most disabled people would really love to not be disabled any more & get their old life back, but that doesn't mean it's a realistic ambition.

You need to drill down on what "want to" means.
82% of those out of work on sickness/disability benefits want to work but feel they can't.

🔹38% said they would like to work but cant find a job that meets their needs.
