this thought is a reflection on when I had my gender legally changed. After announcing that I was legally no longer a man, the first sentence the judge said to me was "Have a good day, sir."
It really does hurt that her first interaction with another human after leaving the clinic will always be a mother thinking she is a creeper man. That will always be true.
Well. She'll change, right? Maybe, someday, when she laughs in the park, a mom will see another woman and share the laugh.
