Gender pay gap won't close for another 30 years.

Myth of equality used to hike women's state pension age.

Women hold 69% of low-paid & insecure jobs.

Women hit first by benefit cuts, wage freezes, two-child benefit cap. More likely to be unpaid carers.

Why are govt policies loaded against women?

If you want to understand why the BBC's stance on trans rights - only platforming cis people (and only those with a sceptical perspective) - is so outrageous imagine if it only platformed men talking about women's rights (and only those with a sceptical perspective).

I might have to add Cass to my list of muted words.

I’m sick of seeing her.

I’m sick of hearing her dogshit bigotry passed off as expertise.

Just… eurgh.

A doctor hounded out of the NHS… because she’s trans.

Dozens of trans kids’ lives ended tragically early.

WI branches closing down because of transphobia.

The self-declared protectors of women and girls must be so proud.

I still find it staggering that a clinician who put so much time into “researching” trans kids can come out with utter garbage like this, with a straight face.

She has learned *nothing*.

It would help considerably if she *listened*, but she appears incapable of this.
and then cass has the absolute nerve to go on the bbc and say shit like this

Imagine, if you will, a photo of the EHRC chair standing proudly alongside white supremacists...
This picture tells us everything we already knew, the bias of the EHRC was blatant.

Narrator: not, in fact, an expert. Cass said so herself.
The expert who led the review into children's gender healthcare in the UK has said young people have been "weaponised" and misled about the realities of transitioning by social media.

Anyone know how I can contact the editors of BBC News/Kuenssberg…?They have not balanced Cass with someone advocating on behalf of trans children. That is in breach of their charter.

“For Women Scotland”, for those who don’t know, comprises precisely three (3) women.
Susan Smith of For Women Scotland is quoted in this piece saying that Dr Upton leaving the NHS will be "a relief to female patients."

The employment tribunal found that Upton had done nothing wrong! She was completely innocent of any kind of harassment!

3. I do think that the judgment gives the strongest signal we have had that trans-inclusive provision will be held to be lawful by the courts. These two passages directly contradict core claims made over the past year by gender critical lawyers.

Beth Upton.

I’d only just woken up from a poor night’s sleep.

Sorry, Dr Upton 🫣
I hope Beth Orton finds peace in her new life.

She never did anything wrong. All she did was exist.

The bigots who cheered on this lynch mob are vile. They’ll never be happy; no amount of trauma inflicted on trans people will ever be enough for them.
The disgustingly trans-hostile UK media are now hounding a trans doctor - who has already had the media spotlight on her as a victim of transphobia - because she’s decided to quit and flee the country to get away from the relentless transphobia! 😣😖

The UK media are BULLIES! 😤

I'm still not clear on what we're supposed to be doing with all the time gAI has freed up for us, now that we're not creating art, having our own conversations, making our own choices or having relationships with real people.

New post: LABOUR'S SECTION 28 IS HERE - ACT NOW.

I explain how the Labour government's proposed revisions to the guidance on "keeping children in education" are designed to erase trans children in England. But it's not a done deal - there is plenty we can do to oppose this.
Labour’s Section 28 is here – act now
In May 1988, the Conservative government introduced Section 28. This legal measure outlawed support for “homosexuality as a pretended family relationship” across Britain, especially in …

The Forstater appeal judge has a lot to answer for.
And also: how fucking absurd is it that businesses have to jump through these hoops, and trans people have to deal with our mere existence being debated every. Single. Day just because some middle aged women are obsessed with what’s in other people’s pants?

That’s a *them* problem, by rights.

One thing I missed: the court said that, if provision is not made (by services) for people who insist on religious or “belief” grounds that they can’t share facilities with
people who don’t match their ASAB, this *lack* of provision must pass the proportionate/legitimate test.

Having had 24 hours to absorb and reflect, one thing that strikes me about this summary is that, *save for the awful workplace requirements*, the high court’s emphasis on “proportionate and legitimate” brings us substantially back to where we were before.

What did I miss?
