Every bit of this only reinforces Joyce Carol Oates’ absolute roast of Elon Musk as fundamentally lacking in the ability to enjoy anything normally human. “I built a tool that can insult people in a social setting better than anything ever invented” is a real personal tell.

Wow. This does follow a trend over the last couple years of Labour undermining the Greens. This article in particular points out that Little is really pretty right-wing, actually.

With fucking Hipkins at Labour's helm, I'm honestly not surprised. (Although I am certainly disappointed.) I don't think he gives a single fuck about LGBTQIA+ issues tbh.

I betcha Ardern would have come out against it right away though. *sigh*
Labour is now the only Opposition party who has not put out an official press release denouncing the NZ government’s restrictions to healthcare access for trans youth and affirming their strong support for the trans, takatāpui and rainbow communities.

Anyone else starting to think that Andrew Little stood aside in favour of Jacinda Ardern in the hope that she'd get blamed for Labour losing instead of him?

He certainly doesn't seem to be the kind of chap who'd step aside because he believes a woman would do a better job than him.

21st century Labour Parties seem determined to become the politics of mealy-mouthed middle-class mediocrity, the political champions of the dinner party setting the world to rights over a nice Pinot Noir demographic, protecting the family silver before taxing the obnoxiously wealthy.

And why Hipkins has still not publicly denounced the anti Trans puberty blocker policy

Needs Winston next year to sideline the Greens like 2017

Tell me I am wrong by pointing to a media article on Hipkins denouncing Winston and that policy
Every single time
Even Nats are brighter than the lot of them who are nothing but apologists

And expecting Hipkins to pick Winston next year to sideline the Greens without fail

“Conversation with Smaug”, by JRR Tolkien, for 1937’s “The Hobbit”.

I’ve no idea what state of mind Tolkien was in when he painted it. But every time I’ve seen it, and I’ve seen it a lot, I get the impression that he was having a really great time. It’s so zestful, in its details & as a whole.

Central Labour screws up again
And why despite one particular person in here taking everything out of context then putting words into people's mouths we were not thrilled Renny running in a seat held by a Green MP rather than carpet bagging a Blue Seat.

Central Labour just keeps screwing up

We keep warning people about Labour and they refuse to listen, they are deliberately undermining the left and capitulating to the right.

This is what happens when the middle class takes the narrative that they're the workers in the world.

You know, the group of people notorious for being middle management...

If the middle realized they were closer to the bottom than anywhere near the top, we wouldn't be here.

Seeing how much of the right-wing on Twitter is just bot farms, kinda lays bare how much hate and hatred is a project that needs to be constantly maintained, a fire that needs to be fed all the time lest it go out for a moment, so much time, effort, and resources to keep people angry and hateful.

Streeting is admitting that the Pathways “trial” already has a predetermined outcome. Stuffing it with SEGM placeholders is evidence of this.

The only way we are going to end state-mandated torture of trans kids is to get Labour out of government completely.
