What do you mean that firefighter is being investigated? We used to be a proper dildo throwing country. Where are our traditional dildo values? I shudder to raise my child in this dildo-at-politicians void world.

It was difficult to believe this was a legitimate transcript of this interview... But it largely is.
Trump: I hate even talking about ICE. 2 people out of tens of thousands and you get bad publicity.

Host: But it was 2 Americans who died—

Trump: We have the smallest trucks. We've been very tough on the waters

Host: The waters?

Trump: The waters where we knock out boats

An ingenious dream: talent and toil alone lead you up the hill, far above #MulhollandDrive. But there are sixteen reasons why others ascend, you fail. Then, the whisper of a sinister shortcut: Silencio, ride along, become a movie star? Or wake up like a broken doll, staggering down into the Valley?

Sainte-Chapelle, Paris, 2023. It’s a dark and rainy day in Portland, Oregon, and I felt the need for some color in my life. I think this fits the bill. #Photography #Architecture #Interior #Paris #France 📷

If you take a breath today remember to be grateful to the bottom of your lungs to these guys that made it all possible. Ice-polished ~1.5 billion yo Proterozoic fossil cyanobacterial stromatolite pavement, at Grinnell Glacier, Glacier NP, MT. Oldest fossils I have ever seen!

Earlier this month, Boston Dynamics and Google Deepmind announced a partnership.

Can’t wait to see the BD robots get LLM-pilled.

If the humans don’t do from taking advice from ChatGPT, well, this’ll do it.

A Boston Dynamics does some gymnastics.

Small dog suffers broken rib after being repeatedly kicked by U.S. Marshals deputy. "Action News 5 obtained two videos that show the marshals service employee kicking Yoshi not once, but twice." www.actionnews5.com/2026/02/07/d...
Dog kicked by Memphis Safe Task Force member on the mend as US Marshals defend action
The dog’s owner told Action News 5 that the deputy U.S. marshal seen punting her pup had no reason to do so, but officials with the U.S. Marshals Service say otherwise.

I found the NZ fairy tern / tara-iti! There are only about 50 adult fairy terns in New Zealand, making them the rarest bird that breeds here by far. It took a lot of trial and error (and some dumb luck) but yesterday, I succeeded! 🪶

"Customer data will drive our decisions" is an idea at the root of so many recent institutional failures. It works when you're selling a luxury item, but not when you're doing politics or journalism, or education. Anything that requires a principled position cannot rely on the preferences of others.

I remember being 13 years old or so and trying to draw her and it was so hard, and all I wanted was to be able to do something like this. Truly a dream come true. 🥰🖖
