Why the fuck are the majority in this country being held to ransom by a small but loud mouthed group of unhinged, narrow minded racists?
It’s been allowed to go on now for over 10 years & it should have been very firmly shut down when it first started.
It’s the cause of the fucking mess we are in!

A year ago I said the Lib Dems would hold power at the next election. In a coalition. I stand by that. But I didn't see Labour utterly destroying their own base like this.

The point isn’t that people were ever calm and wise, it’s that the systems around us used to dampen emotional spikes, now they amplify them. Human nature is constant, but the information architecture is different, and that shift matters politically.

Today’s systems remove that friction. They amplify the fastest, loudest emotional cues in real time. That acceleration reshapes what politicians think the public wants, and drags policy toward whatever produces engagement rather than grounded priorities.

Sometimes the only thing left to say is “fuck right off.”

I think we as a country have reached that point when it comes to the MAGA influence operations that have wormed their way over the Atlantic.

It probably costs more to run than the value it provides to whoever runs it, tbh.

They are violently arresting priests now..
at one point, i watched a cook county sheriff’s officer (who appears to be in charge) point out a priest in the crowd.

he and a couple officers then went into the crowd , dragged him into the street, and arrested him.

situation is still tense as crowd jostles with police to get into the street.
