Perusing Twin Cities local news, i think there’s a huge disconnect. There are schools shut down and going remote, neighborhoods that are ghost towns, because we have federal agents terrorizing the community. But it’s just a single story a day at best

Respectfully, Congresswoman, you voted with Republicans to strip due process from immigrants and to praise Trump's ICE. This year.

Now you're upset?

Votes have consequences. Minnesotans deserve better.
ICE agents followed a Burnsville family home from the store, failed to present a warrant and entered their home with guns drawn. They detained 4 legal citizens who presented documentation, leaving a 7 year-old without parents.

A seven-year-old. Let that sink in. Trump’s ICE is out of control.
ICE agents detained four people from a Burnsville home, according to family members, including a 7-year-old's parents and the husband of a pregnant woman.

Aurin Chowdhury rebutting Michael Rainville on his "defund the police" accusation. MPD has done nothing but ramp their budget off the chart. And then overspent that budget by $20 million. "That's the opposite of defunding the police. So let's give it a break."

Chris Meyer uses a revenue argument as a reason to approve new development. He tells the city council they're about to have some really difficult budget decisions. Think of your most important priorities. Then consider the revenue that comes from a new apartment building in Linden Hills.

📣 Support 13 new homes in the Linden Hills neighborhood!

Minneapolis has a housing shortage, and we need your help to make sure every neighborhood welcomes new neighbors. Please let City Council know you support more homes by taking action by Monday, December 1!

Minneapolis needs a mayor capable of developing strong working relationships with other elected officials serving the city. Especially in these uncertain times. After 8 years in office, Jacob Frey has no endorsements from the Mpls legislative delegation or county commissioners serving the city.

I am rolling my eyes at the language choice here "case resolved CANCELLED - high ETA."

Imagining if tried to tell my boss I *resolved* an issue simply by... cancelling the ticket... bc I'm busy.

Problem solved! Thanks so much, @minneapolismn.gov . 🙃
I reported this truck that was illegally and unsafely parked, blocking the sidewalk *last Wednesday*.

7 days later, the ticket was closed today with: “case resolved cancelled - high ETA.”

Is traffic enforcement even lower staffed than usual? This is so frustrating.

I was honored to represent Robin Wonsley and Michael Wilson. I admire them for their commitment to the hard, necessary work ahead of us and required of us. I got fired from a good job for taking this case, and yet I wouldn't change a thing. Thank you, Robin and Michael, for fighting for Minneapolis.
We won!

Following three weeks of legal proceedings and over five hours in court, the judge found Wayzata-based Minneapolis landlord John Wall in violation of the law on three counts, resulting in a $1,450 fine.
