Rep. Angie Craig
@repangiecraig.bsky.social
Mom of four boys, Mimi to three grandsons, wife to Cheryl and Minnesota Lynx superfan. U.S. Rep for Minnesota’s 2nd District. Fighting for all Minnesotans.
I’m sick and tired of House Republicans passing policies that favor billionaires over hardworking Minnesotans. As we go into this year, I’m more fired up than ever to counter their cruel agenda with policies that put Minnesotans first.

My message to House Republicans this year?

Bring it.

The President has no authority to launch our country into another forever war without Congressional approval.

I’m demanding Speaker Johnson bring a war powers resolution to a vote in the House immediately when we return next week.
January 3, 2026 at 9:01 PM
The President’s reckless decision-making has once again risked launching the U.S. into an unwanted and unnecessary forever war. This decision puts countless American service members in harm’s way.
January 3, 2026 at 6:19 PM
If there’s one thing that 2025 taught me, it’s that the American people are no longer buying House Republicans’ BS policies.

In 2026, I’m ready to deliver for hardworking Minnesotans and fight against this Administration’s cruel agenda with everything I’ve got.

Now let’s get to work.

Happy New Year Minnesota!

I’m wishing you and your loved ones a safe, happy and prosperous year ahead.

Here’s a glimpse into what my team and I accomplished in 2025.

We’re going into 2026 ready to continue serving Minnesotans!
December 30, 2025 at 4:06 PM
In 2025, my office:

✅ Delivered over $3.2 million back to constituents who needed help with a federal agency.

✅ Brought over $16 million in federal funding back to MN-02 for infrastructure improvements.

✅ Helped over 800 Minnesotans with a federal agency.

And we’ll do it again in 2026.
December 29, 2025 at 4:52 PM
Happy Kwanzaa to all those who celebrate in MN-02!

May the next seven days bring you and your loved ones peace, unity and joy.
December 26, 2025 at 3:52 PM
Merry Christmas to all those who celebrate in MN-02!

I’m wishing you and your loved ones a day full of togetherness, (lots of) cookies and plenty of Christmas cheer!

Let’s just say, I had a lot of Thin Mints in 2025.

Instacart was using your data to charge different prices for the same product — and they were caught red handed. That’s why earlier this month, I pressed their CEO for answers.

This news is a win for consumers in Minnesota and across the country.

Instacart ends AI pricing test that charged shoppers different prices for the same items
Instacart will end a program that set different prices for the same items sold at the same store after a report on the experiments triggered criticism.

Let’s just tell it like it is, this year was a sh**show.
December 21, 2025 at 10:18 PM
My team was able to close over 800 constituent cases this year. Here are some of their stories.

If you or your loved ones need help with a federal agency, please contact my office at 651-846-2120.

The Trump Admin is violating federal law by refusing to release all of the Epstein files today.

Shameful, and at this point — entirely unsurprising.
December 20, 2025 at 12:21 AM
The Trump Admin claimed they would go after the “worst of the worst.”

Instead, they’re targeting those who have followed the law and taken the legal steps to become American citizens.

I’m joining Rep. Jayapal and Rep. Fletcher in demanding the Admin resume immigration processing immediately.

It was great to see former Ag Chairman Collin Peterson and the Midwest Ag Council in Washington to discuss farm bill priorities heading into 2026.

Together, we’re fighting for Minnesota’s family farmers, farm workers and producers.
December 19, 2025 at 3:42 PM
The USDA recently ended partnerships with state AGs that protected competition in the ag industry and lowered prices for consumers.

On behalf of family farmers, producers, small business owners, I’m leading my colleagues in the Monopoly Busters Caucus to demand Sec. Rollins reverse this decision.

There goes 15 minutes of my life I’ll never get back.

My statement on the eleventh-hour Republican health care plan:
December 18, 2025 at 12:44 AM
Republicans have had nothing but time to negotiate a bipartisan health care bill that lowers health care costs for ALL Americans.

Instead, they’ve proposed an eleventh-hour plan that will strip reproductive rights from women and raise health care costs.

I’m a hell no.

Trump’s boat strikes have now killed 95 people.

These strikes are unlawful, lack Congressional authorization and risk dragging the United States into another endless war.

There are real solutions to effectively combat the fentanyl crisis in our country. Committing war crimes is not one of them.
December 17, 2025 at 8:35 PM
We’re fighting an affordability crisis in this country. Right now.

Speaker Johnson just announced they’re heading home without a vote to extend ACA tax credits - all but guaranteeing the cost of care will rise for 24M Americans.

You deserve better. I won’t stop fighting to lower health care costs.
BREAKING: Mike Johnson just said he won't call a vote this year to extend enhanced subsidies under the Affordable Care Act — effectively guaranteeing they will expire at the end of this month.

I want to say a huge thank you to all my interns this fall!

Whether it’s answering constituent calls, running Committee hearings or giving tours of the U.S. Capitol – your hard work hasn’t gone unnoticed. Your futures are all bright, I’m wishing you the best in this next chapter!

I am honored to have been awarded a James Beard Impact Award this year.

It takes a village to feed the world. From the farmers and farm workers who grow the food to the small business owners who stock and prepare it, I’m working to support those who power our food economy.

This is shocking news for families across District 196. The rise in threats and violence in our country is unacceptable.

I’m grateful to the public safety officials who responded quickly to this threat and acted swiftly to keep students safe today.
