Rep. Angie Craig
@repangiecraig.bsky.social
Mom of four boys, Mimi to three grandsons, wife to Cheryl and Minnesota Lynx superfan. U.S. Rep for Minnesota’s 2nd District. Fighting for all Minnesotans.
I joined the @mnfarmersunion.bsky.social 84th Annual Convention today to discuss my work as Ranking Member on the House Ag committee.

As this Administration puts Minnesota family farmers through the wringer, I’m leading the fight to put rural Minnesota first.

Today, I stopped by the Minnesota Farm Bureau’s Annual Conference to hear from MN family farmers about how this Admin’s chaotic tariffs are decimating markets.

As the top Democrat on the Ag Committee, I’m working to create markets for our family farmers – not cut them off.

I'm proud to help carry on the late John Lewis' legacy through our John Lewis Every Child Deserves a Family Act.

If this isn’t a metaphor for Mike Johnsons speakership, I don’t know what is. 🔥🚒🚨

No matter which party you belong to, I think we can all agree that this is extremely wrong and dangerous.

The President of the United States should not be threatening to kill those who disagree with him.

This kind of behavior puts every American at risk.

I had an important conversation with members from the Minnesota Agriculture and Rural Leadership program yesterday. Thanks for stopping by!

House Republicans knew that shifting the cost of federal programs onto states would raise property taxes.

They did it anyway. And now Minnesotans are paying the price.

Why? Because they don’t care about making your life more affordable.

These survivors have been silenced for far too long. It’s time to release the files.

I was honored to attend the ribbon cutting ceremony for the Highway 13 Trail in Prior Lake on Friday – which I was proud to have secured $1M in federal funding for.

This trail will not only increase Minnesotans’ access to the outdoors, but it will also increase foot traffic to local businesses.

Every year, I visit Mitch Snobeck's political science class at Eagan High School to answer questions about our government and share my experiences in Congress.

It’s so important to get young voices involved in our democracy, and I was honored to hear from such a bright group of students!

This week, I honored the public safety champions in my district who work day in and day out to keep Minnesotans safe.

I'm deeply grateful for these unsung heroes who have shown a tireless commitment to ensuring community safety.

My statement on my vote against the government funding bill that raises health care costs for millions of Americans:

Come with me to vote no on the government funding bill that raises health care costs for millions of Americans.

This fight isn’t over.

We all want the shutdown to end, but this bill is not the answer.

I’m a no.

From cutting Medicaid by one trillion dollars to refusing to extend the ACA tax credits – everything Republicans have done this Congress has raised health care costs.

Minnesotans deserve better.

This was never political for us.

This so-called deal coming out of the Senate is nothing but a bunch of empty promises.

Hear me loud and clear: it’s time to walk the walk. I will not be bullied into backing down.

Trump's USDA continues to choose cruelty.

I’m a no.

They’d better lawyer up.

I'm sure it's exhausting.

Yesterday, I met with folks at the Washington County Service Center in Cottage Grove who process SNAP benefits.

Minnesotans are not political pawns, and I won’t stop fighting against this Administration’s attacks on food assistance for parents, seniors, veterans and folks with disabilities.

Probably because they’re illegal.
November 6, 2025 at 8:52 PM
This Admin continues to illegally slow walk funding SNAP in November.

I’m fighting so Minnesotans can put food on the table this month.

One of my proudest moments in Congress was working with Speaker Pelosi to close the family glitch in 2022 – making health care more affordable for 62,000 Minnesotans.

For that and so much more: thank you, Madame Speaker.
