I get the sentiment but there is still nothing weirder to me than going to the break room and seeing 1/4 of a donut and 1/3 of a croissant left in a box that contained a dozen of each, so I WILL be letting my coworkers know this is silly.
no one ever wants to be the change they want to see. EAT THAT LAST DONUT. DO NOT CUT IT UP INTO SMALLER BITS.

There may or not be talks to get a Wedge LIVE movie into production, titled “3 Second to Midnight,” about a band of brave podcasters who save the city during a special election held on New Year’s Eve. Starring Chris Hemsworth as Chet Wedgely, Amanda Seyfried as Taylr, and Idris Elba as Josh Martin.

It was an honor to be part of the @wedge.live news team with @taylordahlin.com, @joshmartinmpls.bsky.social, and @camgordon.bsky.social in 2025! Unfortunately, as an elected, I have to shift my role and focus more on official park board business and less on punditry.

Just a reminder for Xmas Eve eve, it’s a great time find your closest immigrant-owned business and support them. Get a meal tonight from a restaurant if you can. Commit to buying grocery staples at an immigrant-owned market once a week. Do what you can to help people keep their heads above water.

Hating humans instead of colonialism/capitalism is a white-centric viewpoint. Just bc you haven't been exposed to cultures that care about each other and their environment doesn't mean they never existed/don't exist.

In the old days we understood that a budget passed by the council and signed by the mayor was worth something. But now you have to get the mayor to double promise he'll try very hard to enact it.

I went to the Karmel mall on Sunday and I would say at least 75% of the shops were not open and very few people were walking through to purchase things.
White neighbors, reports from Latino and Somali businesses on Lake Street are that their numbers are down as much as 90%. Their clientele are scared to go out. We can help with this. Show up, show your support, spend money. And bring your whistles.
