All of the sandwiches at Little Bird—George, Finn, Brooke—are named for kids in the owners’ lives. "And then we tried as best we can to pair the sandwich ... we sort of went, ‘What’s the vibe of the kid and the vibe of the sandwich?’”

It’s easy to swing by the grocery stores on Lake Street to pick up produce—it’s usually better and cheaper than what you’ll get at Cub

We’ve been going to La Mexicana Supermercado on Lake & Bloomington ever since June 3, when they opened their doors to shelter people suffocating from pepper spray
White neighbors, reports from Latino and Somali businesses on Lake Street are that their numbers are down as much as 90%. Their clientele are scared to go out. We can help with this. Show up, show your support, spend money. And bring your whistles.

i genuinely think google maps ruined the experience of driving—people think they’re entitled to get places in 21 minutes exactly or whatever the fuck the app says and they plan accordingly. leave a little early! take your time! chill!!!
I say this not even to scold bad drivers, but to help people life a more stress-free life:

If you stop worrying about driving as fast as you can and stop getting annoyed at other people on the road your life will improve dramatically. You'll get there fine, relax and listen to your favorite podcast
