I would argue that caring and responsibility, traditional masculine values, are under attack by people who fantasize that masculinity is abnormally large muscles and brutality.

So if people agree with me, it's hard to know what this result means.

My should-be-entirely-non-controversial position is that any personal assets over, say, $500 million should be taxed at about 90%, and if you're genuinely opposed to that, why? What human being needs that much money? Or more than that?

Capitalism is a sickness.

I was bored last night so I watched an episode of OG Star Trek where they picked up Charlie, a traumatised teenager with godlike abilities who only wants people to love him, but is incapable of doing anything funny or nice, so he just destroys everything in fits of rage to hide his shame, hey Elon

My home laptop, which I mostly use for gaming, is now eight years old, and I do indeed mostly play older or indie games. Every time I think about potentially upgrading at some hypothetical point when I can afford it, I'm discouraged by the fact that any new PC would be full of AI bloatware
Since genAI has completely fucked the market for home computers, I guarantee there'll be an article complaining that people are playing older and less resource-intensive games and how this is killing the AAA gaming industry

Hey, brah
You like acronyms and learning about current events/crimes?
Hoooh, doggie! You're gonna loove this.
I've posted a couple times about authorities, and it sounds like boring dork shit but it actually is extremely important to understand this whole mess

Prior to the Goldwater-Nichols Act becoming law in 1986, command authorities in the US military were a messy smorgasbord of service and other chains
Yes but also no...SOCOM (really JSOC) has been running unilateral ops in CENTCOM and AFRICOM since shortly after 9/11

I'll do a thread on it later
