the future is cool sometimes… just hotspotted my kindle to my phone to download this at a remote beach in puerto rico
Ah, Bad Bunny left you with questions about power outages, storms, and our hatred of colonialism? Don’t worry, I got you. I’ll show you the aftermath of a storm, take you to the beach, show you what hides under the waves. I’ll show you our magia…

I can't imagine still thinking, in 2026, that Elon Musk was anything other than a brain-damaged drug addicted white supremacist con man whose only real product is tax breaks to prop up his largely fraudulent companies.
Watching Eric Berger (historically a Musk fanboy) struggle with the revelation that Musk is a fake engineer conman white supremacist never loses its entertainment value
Why would Elon Musk pivot from Mars to the Moon all of a sudden?
SpaceX has already shifted focus to building a self-growing city on the Moon."

We are going to regret having the Olympics in LA. I was at a party last night where folks older than me were looking back at '84 with nostalgia goggles on, completely forgetting what it does to the actual city for people who have to live and work here.
This is also highly relevant to the recent @saje-la.bsky.social report that just dropped. We know city workers are spending time on upcoming megaevents —although we don't know how much — and now they're getting less time to get everything done. I wonder which tasks they'll be told to prioritize!

So. My partner suffered an accident that resulted in very significant injuries. While he is, thank christ, alright in the broadest sense, I am now an amateur RN/dog minder/kid chauffeur, so! I've restocked some prints to help keep us in pizza and pain meds.

I had someone stop me in an airport one time to show me a tattoo they got of Udo Kier in CIGARETTE BURNS. Someone else sent me a picture of a Willowy Being tattoo. You know what won't get tattooed on anyone's body?

To be very clear, that lady in the NYT article is not making any money with her hundreds of AI slop books.

She makes money by *convincing people* she makes money that way and getting them to pay her to teach them how to do it.

It's an evolved MLM, and the NYT is helping market it.

This loser admits she doesn't use her real name when she uses AI to write books and doesn't reveal they're AI. Which means she knows it's wrong and she knows it's shameful and does it anyway.

The New York Times thinks that's neat though! Unsurprising that this toilet paper rag aligns with hacks

I've had some trouble dialing in my settings on my newsletters (having two different publications via one Ghost account is a weird tech problem), but I think I finally have it all figured out. '80s ROULETTE goes out in the morning and we'll see if I'm right.

No cast listed at all on IMDb.

You say they're SAG actors. Prove it, motherfuckers. Give us their names so we can (A) find out if they knew what their voices were going to be used for and (B) boycott them permanently if they did.

I'm fucking done with all of this shit.

Taxing billionaires out of existence may be the most critical domestic policy fight of our lifetimes.
Former Washington Post journalists have launched a GoFundMe to help repatriate fired staff members who are effectively stranded in foreign countries.

One of the richest men in the world fired them from the paper and didn’t even pay to ensure they got home.

Good rule of thumb: if Joshua Tyler publishes something at whatever his fucking outlet's called, it's going to be some dumb-ass rage bait nerd content that strongly suggests he once again fundamentally misunderstands something or that he's upset because "woke." Stop amplifying his shitty work.
